Terms of Use

Group Hunt Link ("the Site", "we", "us") is a directory of links to WhatsApp groups and channels submitted by members of the public. By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please stop using the Site.

1. What this Site is

The Site is an index. It lists invite links that other people have submitted, together with the description they supplied. We do not own, run, moderate, host or endorse any group or channel listed here, we are not a party to any conversation that happens inside one, and we have no control over who is in one or what they post.

The Site is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to WhatsApp LLC or Meta Platforms, Inc. in any way. "WhatsApp" and all related marks are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used here only to describe what is being listed.

2. Eligibility

You must be old enough to use WhatsApp in your country — at the time of writing that is 13 in most places and 16 across much of the European Economic Area — and old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live. Do not use the Site if you are not.

3. Prohibited content

You must not submit, and must not use the Site to promote, any group or channel that involves:

• sexual content involving minors, in any form, or any material that sexualises a child;
• pornography, escort services or other adult or sexually explicit material;
• terrorism, violent extremism, incitement to violence, or the glorification of either;
• the sale or supply of weapons, drugs, prescription medicines, or other controlled goods;
• fraud, phishing, investment scams, "guaranteed returns", money-laundering, pyramid or matrix schemes, or the sale of stolen data, accounts or payment details;
• piracy, cracked software, or the distribution of copyrighted material without permission;
• harassment, threats, doxxing, hate speech, or targeting of any person or group;
• gambling or betting where that is unlawful for the audience being targeted;
• malware, hacking services, or anything designed to gain unauthorised access to a system;
• anything else unlawful in your jurisdiction or in ours.

We may remove any listing, at any time, for any reason or for none, without notice and without explanation. Nothing in these terms obliges us to publish or keep publishing anything.

4. Your warranties when you submit a link

Every time you submit a listing you represent and warrant that:

• you are an administrator of the group or channel, or you have the permission of somebody who is, to publish its invite link on a public directory;
• the link is a genuine WhatsApp group invite or channel link and leads where you say it does;
• the name and description are accurate, are your own words, and are not misleading;
• the listing does not breach section 3 and does not infringe anybody's rights;
• you have the right to grant us the licence in section 5.

You are solely responsible for what you submit and for what happens inside the group or channel you submit.

5. Licence you grant us

By submitting a listing you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, display, adapt for formatting, and distribute the name, description and other details you supplied, for the purpose of operating and promoting the Site. You keep whatever rights you already had. This licence ends when the listing is removed, except for copies retained in backups or logs until they expire in the ordinary course.

6. Using the Site

You must not:

• scrape, crawl or bulk-download the Site beyond what a search engine reasonably does;
• submit listings automatically, or in volume, or evade the submission limits;
• attempt to gain access to the administration area or any account that is not yours;
• interfere with the Site's operation, or probe it for vulnerabilities without our written permission;
• reproduce the directory, in whole or in substantial part, as a competing service.

7. Reporting a listing and takedown

Every listing carries a report link. Use it, or write to us at hello@grouphunt.link. To help us act quickly, please include:

• the full URL of the listing on this Site;
• what is wrong with it, in enough detail for us to verify;
• if you are claiming infringement: identification of the work or mark, your rights in it, your contact details, a statement that you believe in good faith the use is unauthorised, and a statement that the information is accurate;
• your name and a means of replying to you.

We aim to review reports within a few business days. Verified breaches of section 3, and verified rights complaints, are removed. We may pass a complaint on to the person who submitted the listing where we hold a way to reach them, unless doing so would be unlawful or unsafe. Repeat infringers are barred from submitting.

8. Intellectual property

The Site's design, code, arrangement, category structure and original text belong to us or our licensors. Listing names and descriptions belong to whoever wrote them. Third-party names, logos and marks belong to their owners and appear here for identification only.

9. No warranty

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that any listed invite link works, that it leads to what its description claims, that a group is safe, lawful, moderated or suitable for you, or that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Group administrators reset invite links whenever they like, and a link that worked this morning may be dead or may have been reused for something else entirely by this afternoon.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary loss, nor for any loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill or anticipated savings, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or of anything you reach through it — including anything that happens to you inside a group or channel you joined through a link found here.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you in connection with the Site is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which, for an ordinary visitor, is nothing) or USD 100.

Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us, and our officers and contractors, harmless against any claim, demand, loss, liability, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of listings you submitted, your breach of these terms, your breach of any law, or your infringement of anybody's rights.

12. Third-party links

Leaving the Site through any link — a listing, a sponsor placement, or anything else — takes you somewhere we do not control and are not responsible for. Their terms and their privacy practices apply, not ours. Where a placement is paid, it is labelled.

13. Changes

We may change these terms. The "last updated" date above moves when we do. Material changes will be signposted on the Site for a reasonable period. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

14. Suspension

We may suspend or block access to the Site, or refuse submissions from any source, at our discretion, particularly where we suspect abuse, automation or breach of these terms.

15. Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of the Site, are governed by the laws of [insert your country or state], without regard to its conflict of laws rules. The courts of [insert your city and country] have exclusive jurisdiction, save that we may seek injunctive relief in any competent court. If you are a consumer, you may also have the benefit of the mandatory protections of the law where you live.

16. General

If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, are the whole agreement between us about the Site. You may not assign your rights under them; we may assign ours on notice.
